Aaron Baddeley has announced that he will once again be working with his childhood coach Dale Lynch.

Speaking on the eve of the Arnold Palmer Invitiational, Baddeley said: “I’m really excited to start working with Dale again and I feel he can take us where I want to go, to win major championships”.

Baddeley is keen to live up to the potential he displayed in a stellar amateur career and as a young professional. He has had mixed results over the last few years with 2 US PGA Tour wins, a win in Australia and starting the final round of the US Open in the lead two years ago being the few highlights.

Of late, driving accuracy and greens in regulation have been an area of concern for the two time Australian Open champion.

“I haven’t quite seen the results I wanted,” he said.

“The past year has been a little inconsistent. I thought I was making good progress but there were a couple of things in the swing that weren’t clicking, so I went and saw Dale for a second opinion.

I liked what he said, talking about golf in general. That’s when I decided to make the switch back.”

Dale Lynch, who of course also coaches Australian Number 1 and World Number 4 ranked golfer Geoff Ogilvy said he was delighted to recommence his working relationship with Baddeley:

“Realistically, Aaron has more than enough talent to win a major and beyond” he said.

“He’s at least as talented as Geoff. At the moment his (poor)driving accuracy and (low percentage of)greens in regulation, theres the issue right there”.

Baddeley is a graduate of the VIS Training Program which was developed by Steve Bann and Dale Lynch.
