Welcome to the latest episode of our Fly on the Wall Series, where we eavesdrop on PGA Tour coach Steve Bann as he works with some of his professional clients.

In this episode, Steve is working with LPGA Tour player Hee Young Park on her pitching and chipping. Steve is working to help simplify Hee Young’s technique so she can “free it up” and just concentrate on where she wants to land the golf ball. This is a money shot- having a good pitching game will help you make a bunch of birdies on par 5’s and short par 4’s while also helping you save par on long par 4’s or when you get into trouble off the tee. Enjoy!:

February 28th|South Korea’s Hee Young Park capped off another solid performance with an even par 72 in the final round to finish in a tie for 9th place at the HSBC Women’s Champions tournament in Singapore.

Building on her T11 place finish last week at the LPGA Honda PTT Thailand, Hee Young showed some encouraging signs that this could be a big year for her on the LPGA Tour with a solid 68 in the first round to be tied for the lead. She struggled to a 74 on Friday, only to bounce back with a 3 under par 69 on Saturday. Sunday was a frustrating day for the young South Korean but she battled gamely, sinking a big birdie putt on the 18th to finish at level par for the day and ensure a top 10 finish.
